What Is It?

A lube, oil, and filter service consists of replacing the oil in the engine, greasing specific points as directed by the manufacturer, and replacing the oil filer.

Why Do I Need It?

Engine oil retains contaminants produced under normal vehicle operation. The oil filter removes these contaminates from the oil, but eventually becomes saturated and needs replacement. Without changing your oil and filter, engine breakdown is immanent. Equally important is the greasing of various components. While you car is on the lift, technicians grease steering and suspension parts to ensure they do not wear prematurely.

When Do I Have To Do It?

A lube, oil, filter service needs to be performed every 3,000 miles or every three months (whichever comes first).
